Damietta Alliance Container Terminals JSC operates the Second Container Terminal (Tahya Misr 1) at Damietta Port under the Private Free Zones System. The terminal features 1,670 m of quay length, 93 ha of yard area, 18 m water depth, 12 container gantries (expandable to 16) and 40 RTGs (expandable to 55), with a final handling capacity of 3.3m TEU — a strategic Mediterranean gateway with minimal deviation from major shipping routes and the Suez Canal.
